The Arabian Journeys exhibition transforms visitors across the diverse landscapes of the Arabian Peninsula through a three-dimensional, immersive experience. The 1300 square metre gallery is separated into six clearly defined areas; Island Arabia, Desert Trek, Mountain Crossing, Coastal Voyage and Into the Future. 

Thermoformed ribbon structures flow along the ceiling above film projected walls to surround and guide the visitor through the geographical journey. In the Island Arabia Zone, parts of the film are co-ordinated with large media tables, in which 11000 rods dynamically moved to illustrate the changes in plate tectonics. In the Connection Zone, information is projected and coordinated with touch stimulated books on tables along side seated areas.
